Chateau Frontenac

The famous Chateaux Frontenac in Quebec City sits perched on a bluff overlooking the St. Lawrence at a convenient bend, making the view up and down the river from the hotel spectacular. The view of the hotel itself is pretty spectacular as well, both inside and out. It's easy to imagine the well-turned Canadian Pacific guests at the turn of the century strolling along the boardwalk while bateaux drift by on the   river below.
